Art and Drama Clubs Go To TIFF!

The Art and Drama Clubs went to the big city to attend the Toronto International Film Festival. The students were exposed to many elements of the theatre. An exceptional time was had by all!

Science Fair Winners

MiloCongratulations goes out to our bronze medal winners from the County Science Fair. Grade 5 students, Ethan and Aidan, did a demonstration on how to use compostable materials to make energy. Milo in grade 5 also won a bronze medal for his project on how water affects plant growth! Way to go boys!We had many other students who entered the Science Fair as well. We are proud of all of our Stingers for their hard work and efforts! Good job everyone!  Thank you Mrs. Mooney for getting our school involved!

Intermediate Boys and Girls Win Zones!

Congratulations goes out to our Intermediate Boys Basketball team and our Intermediate Girls Volleyball team who both won their zone tournaments on February 25. They each proceeded to their Area tournaments on February 28. The Girls played very well and showed consistent effort. The Boys advanced to the County tournament on March 4 where they played hard against the top teams in Simcoe County. Congratulations to both teams on a job well done! Be proud Stingers!

Grade 4 Medieval Times Presentation

Today the grade four students had an in school presentation to learn about Medieval times weaponary, armour and and archery. Fun was had by all!
